The Association of Business Mentors (ABM) is delighted to offer a bridging programme to obtain an ILM-accredited Level 7 Certificate in Executive Coaching and Mentoring (Business).
The ILM Level 7 accreditation has been designed by theABM to support those individuals who desire to practice professional business mentoring at the highest level as well as gain a better understanding of how to embed a Mentoring culture within any sized organisation.
It will also enable you to maximise your mentoring and coaching expertise as an independent professional Business Mentor, operating at Owner or Board level.
The ILM is the UK’s top leadership and management qualifications specialist, enabling people and organisations to develop their leadership skills for personal and economic growth.
By obtaining the ILM Level 7, you gain a professional qualification that carries significant credibility in the marketplace. Additionally, you will be exposed to the theories and practices of professional business mentoring, enabling you to mentor others, improve results and gain confidence.
As part of the ILM Level 7 Qualification, you will receive group supervision as well as 1:1 support and supervision from course tutors. This element of supervision and reflective practice within this course allows you to actively improve your mentoring practice in a professional setting as well as encourages peer-to-peer discussion.

Alongside a refresh of the fundamental elements of mentoring covered on an ILM Level 5 course, participants will explore the following topics in more detail:

· The benefits of supervision
· Business strategy and leadership theory

What are the course requirements?
· An ILM Level 5 Certificate in Coaching and Mentoring, or equivalent
· Actively practising as a coach or mentor, either independently or internally within an organisation
· Experience in operating at, or working with, senior levels (strategic decision-making) in organisations
