ILM Qualification

The Association of Business Mentors (ABM) is delighted to offer the foundation in business mentoring which, when successfully completed provides a digital ILM recognised credential – Foundation in Business Mentoring.

Completing this programme will support you in establishing and further developing the foundations of your mentoring practice, allowing you to advance your professional business mentoring journey. The programme takes a minimum of 4 weeks to complete.

The programme provides you with an in-depth understanding of the key responsibilities, functions and approaches of a professional business mentor. You will gain a better understanding of how to structure your mentoring sessions and overall client process, including modules on different mentoring models and reflective practice. Additionally, you will be supported by your course tutor and peers to engage in mentoring supervision.

Who is this programme for?

This ILM recognised programme is for mentors who have a basic understanding of business mentoring but seek to gain a deeper understanding of professional mentoring practices and new ideas, theories and principles within the field of Business Mentoring.
