Jem Gunn

Jem Gunn is a Regional Ambassador for the ABM (Association of Business Mentors), a Professional Business Mentor, and Mentor for the government’s Help2Grow Business Mentor scheme.

Jem is a Director of JemGunn Ltd (www.jemgunn.com) - a successful, thriving therapy centre in Cheshire, U.K. She is a member of the BACP (British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy) and BAAT (British Association of Art Therapists).

Jem is a leading expert on the serious mental health condition of Body Dysmorphic Disorder (‘BDD’) and appearance dissatisfaction issues. She has trained extensively in integrative psychotherapy, advanced psychopathology, transactional analysis psychotherapy, counselling, cognitive behavioural therapy, and organisational coaching.

Jem is the founder of the BPC method™ - a bespoke structured framework using a combination of Behavioural Therapy, Psychotherapy, and Coaching techniques - for individuals with Body Dysmorphic Disorder. She is passionate about ensuring individuals receive the right treatment and support using this bespoke structured framework.

Jem is a qualified Portfolio Management Director, accredited by APMG International. She has a circa 20 year career history of working within a Corporate environment, managing Digital Transformation Portfolios within the Financial Services sector; managing budgets of up to £250m, with up to 150 direct reports. Throughout her lengthy career she has led, managed & mentored individuals and teams on a self-employed/freelance Consultancy basis - with experience of making the transition to a second career and establishing her own successful Private Practice.
