45 years of broad business experience working with start-ups, small businesses & large international companies. An experienced angel investor, business mentor & coach. I award loans to startups.

• Angel investing for ten years including sitting on the board of two start-ups.
• Mentoring for the Princes Trust Charity for nearly 20 years as well as previously for Start Up Direct (the founding delivery partner of The Start Up Loans Company).
• Chaired Business Launch Panels at the Princes Trust & ran them ‘one on one’ at Start Up Direct. These panels decided on whether loans and mentors should be approved for each business. I also work with entrepreneurs to prepare comprehensive business plans, prepare loan recommendations & help their business grow.
• Together with a leading restaurateur, building a bestselling Restaurant Start Up Course which now has over 10,000 students and a score of between 4.3 and 4.7 out of 5 after more than 2,000 reviews
• Four years of international banking experience.
• Four years in public relations working with two international agencies.
• 20 years working with a multinational FTSE 50 company, for seven of which I was a Main Board Director. This included six years of marketing & sales working with leading marketing, advertising and promotions agencies followed by ten years building the international business (Profit €250 million, 4000 employees).
• Two years heading up M & A. Whilst in that role I led the €2.1 billion acquisition of a European Company which I then went on to lead and integrate.
• Ten years working as Non-Executive Chairman/Director/Charity Trustee on the Boards of various companies involved in internet gaming, investment trust board, vending, wholesale distribution & sexual health.
