Bio:

I bring collaborative thinking inside a business. My experience allows me to look at businesses objectively and consider where improvements could develop the bottom line, or improve ways of working for the benefit of all. I am a natural Systems Thinker, seeing a business holistically as a series of relationships, recognizing that these relationships are more than contractual and that partnering and cooperation are the key to business success. I understand how the systems within the business work, and regard continuous improvement, and the support of those involved, as integral to success. I have a particular interest, and deliver programmes tailored to your business, in Workplace Culture, in Leadership and motivation and in developing Social Value for local communities. I have experience in a wide variety of sectors; Knowledge and Information Management, transport and logistics, hospitality and catering, tourism, retail, public sector and defence. With this diverse background, I am able to consider issues from different angles, always bringing a new perspective to a task. I have worked within a number of start-up businesses and had my own restaurant in Ireland. Later, I had military experience within logistics and as a trainer. I bring a bucket-load of soft or transferable skills built up through understanding people. I recognize that people, whether customers, suppliers, staff or the business owner are what make a business tick.
