Bio:

I’m Hilary Fearn, a qualified business mentor, with the lived experience of growing my own business to acquisition. I support and empower my clients by using a unique blend of mentoring/coaching techniques, together with genuine empathy and understanding of their challenges.
My qualification is a level 7 (masters) in mentoring and coaching at senior and executive level from the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM).
After exiting my business in 2017 I didn’t want to waste the knowledge I had gained from growing a company over 12 years. I wanted to help business leaders like me by having someone they could talk to openly about their goals and the challenges they were facing.
My background is construction, but I have first-hand experience of 40 years working at senior level in many sectors. I have mentored business leaders across industries such as PR, domiciliary care, education, healthcare, accountancy and IT amongst others all over the UK.
I take a people-centred approach to running a business, believing that people and relationships are key to success. I have a financial background which helped me steer the company through challenging times, notably the banking crisis.
I am a great listener and sounding board. I challenge when it will help insight and provide suggestions if requested. I believe that my clients are the experts and the most powerful solutions are those that they find themselves.
