Simon Fordham, renowned as the UK’s leading business mentor and the pivotal force behind the Association of Business Mentors (ABM) as its Chairman since 2017 and Executive Director since 2014, has now resigned from these roles to pursue a new and exciting high-profile role supporting the UK’s businesses. Additionally, he will be stepping down as the ABM Project Director of the Help to Grow: Management Course on 28th March 2024. Simon will continue his invaluable work supporting the Department for Business and Trade at ministerial level, an endeavour he is deeply committed to.

Throughout his tenure, Simon’s contributions to the Association of Business Mentors have been nothing short of transformative. His visionary leadership and profound expertise in business mentoring have significantly elevated the association’s stature and impact across the UK. Under his stewardship, the association has become a cornerstone for mentoring support and guidance, development and qualifications, aiding numerous businesses and mentors in their growth journeys.

In his role with the Help to Grow: Management Course, Simon has been instrumental in moulding it into an influential hub of business mentoring, leaving a legacy of more than 3000 trained mentors in the UK with over 100 qualified to a high level. His dedication to nurturing aspiring and experienced business mentors has a lasting impact, benefitting a multitude of business leaders and contributing substantially to the nation’s economic progression.
