This is ideal for aspiring and experienced business mentors and coaches who wish to develop their own skills, knowledge and behaviours with an internationally recognised qualification as a business mentor and coach at Degree Level.
Online Modules (4 – 5 hours self-paced)
- AI & Digital Adoption – Understand what AI and automation really mean for SMEs, with real-world examples.
- Assessing Readiness – Simple frameworks such as the Seven Pillars of Readiness to help explore whether a business is prepared for AI adoption.
- Exploring Mindsets – Understanding emotional, cultural and behavioural factors that shape reactions to AI – from scepticism to over-enthusiasm.
- Practical Tools – Hands-on demonstrations of AI tools for visuals, content creation, research, data analysis and customer service. Each module introduces real examples, practical benefits, and pitfalls to avoid.
- AI & Ethics – Considering responsible use of AI, from privacy and bias to environmental impacts, and how mentors can role-model good practice.
Virtual Classroom (3 hours live online)
- Case Study Recap – Explore how one SME successfully adopted AI, identify the critical success factors, and consider what questions a mentor might ask along the way.
- Managing Change – Practical input on how to support mentees through resistance, uncertainty and team challenges, using the Change Curve as a guide.
- Mentoring Practice – Practice using techniques with realistic AI adoption scenarios to sharpen your style.
Reflection and Assessment (60 minutes on-line):
- A self-assessed activity to consolidate your learning
- 30-question multiple choice test
- A guided reflection to consolidate your learning and identify actions for your mentoring practice

Your Three-Part Journey
Our three-part programme combines flexible eLearning, an optional live workshop, and guided reflection to support leadership growth. Part 1 includes a 4–5 hour eLearning module, followed by an optional 3-hour virtual workshop, and concludes with 60 minutes of reflection and assessment.
