WILL YOU BE ABLE TO JUDGE?
Thank you to everyone who has attended the skills sharing session throughout 2025. As a recap we have covered:
• How our bias can impact the mentoring relationship
• Setting boundaries and what to do if you cross them
• How do you know when you are really listening
• How curious is too curious
• What tools for when – separating the person from the busin
• When is it time to end the relationship
• Meeting the needs of neurodiverse clients
• Managing expectations
• Managing our wellbeing
• Reading between the lines
• How we measure impact of mentoring
• Using strategy and business models
Many of these are available to review in the resources library.
To bring the year to a close we are holding one final CPD event.
Join Fellow members Brenda Etchells and Andy Hickman (combined as Br-Andy) who will carry out a role play of mentor and mentee, with the audience using the Core Competency matrix to tick off the skills demonstrated within the role-play. (There may even be a prize for the person identifying the most skills…)
Format:
A case study approach for members to check their understanding of the skills needed to be an effective mentor – also a bit of fun!
We hope you can join us.
