Liz King

ABM Principal Trainer

Liz has many year’s experience in HR & Learning & Development at a senior level, from being the Director of People & Learning for a complex Care Charity, to running the training department for Hampshire Constabulary.  In 2012 she set up a successful award-winning hospitality business with her son, running four pubs, an outside catering and bar arm and securing large contracts with coach companies providing excursions to Stonehenge.  She came out of the business in 2019 and set up Catalyst Coaches, a freelance HR consultancy and coaching and mentoring service, and more recently Pub Doctors, providing HR services, consultancy and mentoring to the hospitality industry.  

She is a Fellow of the CIPD, a Fellow of the ABM and holds a Level 7 in the ILM Level 7 in Executive Coaching and Mentoring.  She is also a mentor of the Help to Grow programme.

Liz joined the ABM as Principal Trainer (Centre Management) and is excited to be setting up the ABM’s new National Training Centre.
