The impact is not only commercial – 63% of business leaders said mentoring had supported headcount growth, while 72% said it improved their work-life balance, mental health and confidence.

Yet the research also found that 34% of business leaders said finding someone with professional mentoring experience or qualifications was the main barrier to finding a mentor.
