I’m the Founder and Director of Skillslocal, an award-winning business coaching and mentoring practice based in the Peak District. I support business owners, leaders, and teams to flourish with confidence, clarity, and resilience.
As a licensed Investors in People Practitioner, I’ve worked with hundreds of organisations to strengthen leadership, culture, and engagement. I’m also a Master Practitioner for WRAW – the world’s first psychometric that measures workplace resilience and wellbeing, and I deliver a wide range of diagnostics, including DISC and the full suite of BeTalent assessments.

I’m also a qualified Mental Health and Wellbeing Instructor.
In addition to the work I do with businesses I’ve supported high-profile projects with universities, local authorities, LEPs, and national programmes. I’ve delivered eight Peer Networks for the East Midlands Chamber, LLEP, and Stoke & Staffs LEP, supported the University of Derby’s apprenticeship and Help to Grow programmes, and I mentor with both Santander’s Women’s Breakthrough Programme and the Government’s Help to Grow scheme.
Alongside my consultancy work, I serve as Vice Chair of Business Peak District, championing local enterprise and sustainable growth. I’ve also developed my own signature Flourish® Framework – a practical model that helps leaders and organisations grow stronger, healthier, and more resilient.
Originally from Manchester, I moved to the Peak District 25 years ago, where I live with my husband Pete and our two cocker spaniels, Dalton and Kelvin. I love travelling and spend several months each year combining work and adventure as a “digital nomad” across Europe.
