Funded by the Help to Grow: Management Course, this masterclass is designed to equip mentors with the confidence and skills to deliver effective volunteer mentoring as part of the programme.
In today’s increasingly diverse business environment, understanding how people think, process information, communicate, and learn is essential for effective mentoring. This session explores how mentors can create more inclusive mentoring relationships by developing greater awareness of neurodiversity and adapting their approach to meet the needs of individual mentees.

About the panellists
Philippa Seal is a professional business mentor, executive coach, facilitator, and qualified supervisor of mentors. With over 20 years’ experience leading creative agencies and teams, she brings valuable insight from both professional expertise and lived experience. Philippa is a Help to Grow mentor, an ABM Fellow, and a Master Member of the EMCC.
Holly Conroy is a neurodiversity mentor, wellbeing practitioner, and SEND governor. She supports neurodivergent individuals, families, and workplaces to better understand regulation, resilience, and capacity through a combination of mentoring, education, and lived experience.
Liz King is Head of Training at the ABM, a Fellow of both the CIPD and ABM, and an experienced Help to Grow mentor. With more than 30 years’ experience in HR and training, she has led numerous equality, diversity, and inclusion initiatives and is passionate about creating accessible and welcoming environments for all.
