Association of Business Mentors (ABM)

The Association of Business Mentors (ABM) is delighted to announce its newly constituted Ambassador Network, led by National Chair Jarmila Yu.

Building on the contribution of our existing Ambassadors, the network will strengthen regional connections, champion professional business mentoring and help more businesses access the support they need to grow and thrive.

ABM Ambassadors will build relationships across the UK’s nations and Mayoral authorities, connecting local business communities, universities, Growth Hubs and other business support organisations. Their insights will help shape ABM’s future work and ensure regional business needs inform our national priorities.

Activity will begin in November, with the appointment of Heads of the Ambassador Network in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, alongside regional Heads in the North West, Yorkshire and Humber, and the Midlands. The network will expand across the UK as we head into 2027, and we welcome expressions of interest from all regions.

Welcoming Jarmila’s appointment, ABM CEO said Georgina Waite said:

“Jarmila is a powerhouse in building business support and membership communities. We are excited to welcome her to the ABM team, leading ABM’s Ambassador Network to put Professional Business Mentoring at the heart of the business support landscape right across the UK.”

Jarmila Yu, National Chair of the ABM Ambassador Network, said:

“Our new Ambassador Network has a new mandate: one of action. We will build a high-calibre team of regional leaders who can use their collective experience, relationships and influence to connect, convene and champion; opening doors, bringing the right people together and turning national ambition into local impact.”

Founder and Managing Director of YUnique Marketing, Jarmila brings more than 30 years’ experience as a business leader, Consulting CMO and Business Growth Mentor, alongside extensive Chair, board and advisory experience.
